First 3 chapters published in "A Witness and A Testimony" magazines, 1943-44, Vol. 21-5 - 22-6. At the end of chapter 3 were the words: "To be continued" but no more chapters were published. However, these remaining chapters were found in unpublished manuscripts and are included as chapters 4-6.
